The First 100 days of Executive Orders gave me an extreme headache.

I thought I could cover the first 100 Days of Executive Orders dealing with the Trump administration. What I did get instead was an extreme headache of “HOG WASH” only in my opinion. You have to realize that my opinion honestly only means something to me. After all this is my blog and it is all about what I think and how I have to answer to the God Almighty for my actions.

  

All I was able to cover was the month of January. Now I may follow up in parts on this blog information by doing February then March; then, again I may not. Below each Executive order, I have my opinion posted in red lettering. Enjoy it because it may very well be comical.

1.       January 20, 2017

Executive Order Minimizing the Economic Burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Pending Repeal. This means that the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act – Public Law 111-148 is to be repealed and replaced with a comparable solution of free and open commerce not to cause burden on any state, corporation, or patient. 

Well if you are not insured, you may very well be SOL. So far to date, nothing has been done. The children on Capitol Hill, the Congress, cannot play well together nor come up with a solid comprehensible working plan.  Consider the fact, our government could care less as long as they get their money, and in office. They may be our employees or want you to think that but there must be something in it for them first.

2.       January 24, 2017

Executive Order Expediting Environmental Reviews and Approvals for High Priority Infrastructure Projects. This means that it will increase competitive jobs, increase wages, reduce costs of goods and services for US to compete better on the international market. This intent is to update the infrastructure to improve US Electrical grids, telecommunications systems, upgrade critical ports facilities, airports, pipelines, buildings, and highways. To identify high priority projects within 30 days to establish a manner within the law to the relevant agency so that it can be placed in a budgetary manner.

Well I wonder if PG & E (San Francisco Black-out of 2017) was wanting grant money via identifying a poor grid this past month? Good Lord and Heaven sent high water it closed everything down and caused a big problem of inconvenience not to mention all those people stuck in dark elevators groping each other.

Talk about improving the airports. Does this mean that Homeland security will come up with a better system of checking the groin area of children to get past security? We do have a problem with 10 – 12 year- old terrorist in puberty age.

Does this also mean better phone service so that the NSA can monitor US citizens in a more efficient unfounded manner? I really though President Obama did a great job of bugging the Trump Towers. It was so good that the information, tapes, transcripts and equipment just “poof” vanished.

What about the continual repair of pot holes and sidewalks in Houston? The same repair has been going on over and over again. You think they might have fix the problem.  When I left Houston in 1986 and returned in 2011, the same repair is still going on.

Repair Pipelines? (I hope he isn’t referring to the one in Russia or Syria.) We just destroyed Indian lands to put one in America. Now it needs repair? What about the wetlands it ruined in Alabama and other areas throughout the south?  Would it just be easier to increase and improve public transportation inside and from state to state?

3.       January 25, 2017

Executive Order Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States. This is pertaining to the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) 8 U.S.C. 1101 et seq. to insure public safety, it is to that the immigration laws are faithfully executed. It is pointing out that many aliens who illegally enter the US, those who overstay and violate terms of their VISAS present a threat to the national security and public safety—particularly for aliens who engage in criminal conduct in the US. 10K + of these are removable because they have served time in our jail are their countries refuse to repatriate them, many are being illegally protected in Sanctuary Cities. This gives authority on the INA to remove aliens consistent with Article II, Section 3 of the US Constitution and section 3331 of title 5, U.S.C. Jurisdiction that do not comply will not receive Federal Funds except as mandated by law; and, that Homeland Security shall prioritize for removal those aliens as described by the Congress (all laws and regulations pertaining to this action and those who have been, convicted of any criminal offense, charge with any criminal offense not resolved, committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense, committed fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before governmental agency, abused in program of public benefits, or who just pose a public safety risk.  

Mr. President must really have it out for the Hispanic Communities in the USA and it seems so does AG- Jeff Sessions.  The whole purpose of “Sanctuary Cities” has no legal definition that is unified in regulation of its jurisdiction.

In 1989, cities like San Francisco have laws called “City and County of Refuge Ordinance” which prohibits city employees from helping federal immigration efforts unless compelled by court order or state laws.” There are at least 200 of these types of laws throughout the USA in different cities and states.  According to the US Government, these are mainly ordinances and laws that help drug cartels, gangs and terrorist cells mainly in the Latin American communities.[1] Of Course Jeff Sessions threatened to withhold federal grand money but not in the same exact wording in accordance to the law.

All of this part was brought about because a San Francisco woman was murdered. He (alleged suspect) was in custody awaiting Federal Agents to pick him up for deportation because he was a convicted felon. The city had actually no reason to hold him under city ordinance and turned him loose. He then goes out and allegedly murdered a woman. I will say this much. He should have been detained because of this possibility. But in all honesty, there is no way to tell period.

As of 4/26/2017, a Federal Judge blocked the Sanctuary City part of this Executive Order.[2] Well now that it is in the court section, how much will it cost the US taxpayers? Assuming that the national government was totally aware of the functions of the purposes of sanctuary locations, then why are they mainly concerned with the Hispanic population only? Are they all terrorist and pose a threat to the national security?

4.       January 25, 2017

Executive Order Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements.  This is about Immigration and Nationality Act (8 USC 1101 et seq.) (INA), the Secure Fence Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-367) and the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-208 Div. C (IIRIRA). Aliens at the border, particularly at the southern border with Mexico, who enter have place a strain on Federal resources and overwhelmed agencies.  Those who are with Transnational criminal organizations operate sophisticated drug and human trafficking networks and smuggling operations on both sides of the southern border which is detrimental to the USA. Policy is to secure the southern border with a wall that is to be monitored with adequate personnel so as to prevent illegal immigration, drug, and human trafficking and acts of terrorism. Identify federal funds for the planning, designing, and construction of a physical wall along the southern border and preparing It for a congressional budget request for the current and upcoming fiscal years within 180 days of the signing of this order. All departments are to gather information from the last 5 years of direct and indirect aid to Mexico—no exclusions to the Secretary of State in 30 days. In 60 days, the Secretary of the state shall report to the President reflecting all the aid and assistance from the past 5 years. (And all the laws/regulations under the USC pertaining to this order.) 

Here it is! The famous “WALL” on the southern border of the U.S.A. Well low and behold it really wasn’t President Trump’s idea to build a wall. Talk about taking credit for an existing law in place. That is funny. The American People fell for it! What a hoot!

Nowhere in this entire order does it mention what will be the outcome of the study of the past 5 years of aid packages to Mexico? I actually am assuming that the President or State Department will use the cost of the past five years and the next 50 years in economic aid packages to pay for the “WALL.”  Or, it might just be a bargaining chip called “CUT OFF” and break NAFTA time. (That sounds like a really cool idea to a new dance. Instead of “Hammer Time” it is “Cut Off” or “break NAFTA Time.”

If it does great; if it doesn’t great! Regardless, all Mr. President has to do is withhold those economic packages to Mexico which is tax-payer’s dollars to pay for the “WALL.” After all, don’t all the terrorist, drug cartels, human trafficking that are mentioned come from Mexico? Well as far as human trafficking is concerned, Mr. President is correct in the fact he is probably accessing intelligence information from 2015 or older. Tenancingo, Mexico (about 2 hours southeast of Mexico City) was deemed the Human Sex Trafficking capital of the world in 2015.[3] In fact, in America, Houston, Texas is considered the largest nationwide as of 2016.[4] I always knew this city would be great again in something other than the Astrodome (storage facility), defunct Astro-world and NASA—which most people think is conspiracy theory and really didn’t happen.  We can rest assured that Mexico was # 1 in sexual flesh peddling. The late Mickey Leland would be so proud of his hometown for sex trafficking.

I am still of the personal opinion, just buy out Mexico as a country and incorporate it into the U.S.A. Then we go in with troops, clean it up. They have enough silver mines to be mined, as well great tourism, and other natural resources that will be beneficial to the great old Glory. Then, (I am relatively sure) there are really great antiquities sites for archaeology as well to be discovered in that of the back country of Mexico. Investors, just think of Acapulco as a great of the Riviera of the middle Pacific as well as places like Cozumel and other tourist attractions.

NASA, well, the conspiracy theories are correct. It was a series mentioned on “The Twilight Zone” starring Rod Sterling from 1959-1964. The series ended because they were getting too close to the “truth.” Late President Johnson and Late Nixon were investigating them. They had Elvis looking into it. That is why Elvis is now late.

5.       January 27, 2017

Executive Order Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into The United States. This is pertaining to Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), 8 USC 1101 et seq., and section 301 of title 3 USC and to protect the American people from terrorist attacks by foreign nationals admitted to the US. Since 9/11/2001, State Department policy prevented consular officers from properly scrutinizing the VISA application of several of the 19 foreign nationals who went on to murder nearly 3,000 Americans even though the VISA issuance process was reviewed and amended after 9/11/2001, it totally didn’t -attacks by foreign national who were admitted to the US. These attacks after 9/11/2001 were terrorist related crimes including foreign national who entered the US after receiving visitor, student, or employment VISA’s or who entered through the US refugee resettlement program—because of their countries deteriorating conditions due to internal war or strife.  The US cannot, should not admit those in acts of bigotry, hatred (including honor killings, or other forms of violence against women, persecution of those who practice of religion different from their own) or those who would oppress Americans of any race, -gender, or sexual orientation.  This is to suspend all VISA’s until the Homeland Security, Secretary of State and Director of National Intelligence convenes to determine the information needed to approve VISA’s. Time limits are mentioned and the Syrian refugee program of 2017, with a proposed admission of about 50,000 refugees be suspended immediately and considered on a case by case situation. It is also to Rescission of Exercise of Authority Relating to the Terrorism Grounds of Inadmissibility and consult with the Attorney General pertain to this repeal. This is to expedite completion of the Biometric Entry-Exit Tracking System for all travelers to the USA.  This is to suspend all VISA interview waiver programs and to review all nonimmigrant VISA reciprocity agreements. All reports have a time limit and mention in respect to the laws and regulation in place as well as the codes in any and or all agreements within the confines of NATO.

Let’s do a little reality check here. INS had really been put on the firing line when they approved the students in Florida as students six months after 9/11/2001. As of the 2002 no actual investigation was done as to the breakdown of the Immigration Systems; all of the hijackers were issued VISA’s. [5] Later, much after the fact the 9/11 Commission was formed. The hijackers entered the USA through Canada, Caribbean (Bahamas), Ireland and Bahrain. Of the 9/11 terrorists, 15 were from Saudi Arabia, 2 from the United Arab Emirates, 1 from Egypt and 1 from Lebanon and the common features were they all were trained in an Afghan camp set up by Al-Qaeda.[6] Only one of the was in the USA illegally until further investigation presented many of the passports were documented fraudulently.[7] This just goes to prove that there was a lack of training only in the system or “I don’t care” attitude among the national government employees at the entry points. So, with all these studies going on, why is Mexico being made to sound so terrible? Why is it’s borders so insecure? In this 2010 Study, it was mentioned that “...southern borders are suffering from a near national security crisis due to a Mexican narco-insurgency.” [8]

The Biometric system of tracking may or may not work is a something that needs to be seen in the studies. I wasn’t familiar with it until I saw what it was and understood it. It is currently being used in the US in many medical complexes and we just didn’t know what it was called. Harris County Health Systems has such a device in place. A picture of a valid identification is obtained by the holder presenting it. Then their fingerprints and palm are placed over a raised device for verification from the first time a person visited the medical facility. The information is then stored.

In 1996, Congress requested 9 studies throughout the U.S. It would cost $400-600 million to implement on all borders. The only thing holding it back is the executive authority to do so. As it currently stands, each land entry and exit point into the U.S. is handled differently. Other countries are using this method as well. [9] There is no consistency and no uniformity. The only problem I see is will this be followed through and implemented. Foreign visitors into the USA are treated better than its own naturally born citizens. This method is not allowed for potential terrorist but is allowable to U.S. citizens who go into medical facilities? Besides, there are still other ways of potential entry besides land via air and or borders. There is such a thing called jumping ship while awaiting customs clearance and or tunneling under the border.

On March 15, 2017, NPR reported that a Federal Judge in Hawaii and Maryland blocked President Trump’s travel ban as issued in this order.[10]

Well there is no sense in having a Syrian refugee program if we are going to bomb the heck fire out of them after they allegedly released poisoned gas on a small fraction of their population. Let’s do this a few more times and we honestly won’t have to worry about the Syrian refugee relief program because they will all be dead. Besides, no system anywhere is 100% fool proof because there is no perfection anywhere especially when dealing with humans.    

Want this problem cured, buy Mexico and send in the Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, and Louisiana National Guard to “clean it up all the way to the Panama Canal.” Better yet, send Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’s brother, Erik Prince, and his organization to Mexico to clean her up. Blackwater would relish at the chance of a government contract.

6.       January 28, 2017

Executive Order Ethics Commitments by Executive Branch Appointees. This is about an Ethics Pledge of the Appointed Executive committee on or after appointment to the position on January 20, 2017.  They cannot engage in lobbying activities with respect to the agency for up to five years after their employment as an appointee is terminated. They cannot have communication with employee of former executive agency. They cannot engage in any activity on behalf of any foreign government or foreign political party. They cannot accept gifts from registered lobbyists or lobbyist organizations during the duration of service as an appointee.  For a period of two years from date of appointment participate in any particular matter involved specific parties related in any manner to former employer or former clients including regulations and contracts. There are laws and or procedures supporting this decision, applicable rule supported exclusionary rules and exceptions as well as breach of contract violation of this executive order which is placed in a civil manner to the Office of Attorney General.

Oh, really big woo! Take me to court and put an injunction on my behind that this is really going to stop me. Do you think if I had that kind of money, I would allow anyone in the government to tax it let alone find it? That is why Mr. President won’t produce his tax returns. Chances are it is with his cash. He left home without it. He probably has no idea where it is.  (His cold hard stuff as well as the tax returns. Looks like he forgot to snatch and grab.) Most presidential personal possession are put in government storage. Well guess what mot this one! He has to be able to go to Trump towers or Mar-a-Lago for serious concentration or compilation on the knighted 24-k throne at least once a week. Cold porcelain or bone china is just not his thing. $9.99 Dollar Store Throne would be an insult.

7.       January 30, 2017

Presidential Executive Order on Reducing Regulation and Controlling Regulatory Costs. This is about financially responsible funding of tax payers and private source funds to manage the cost of dealing with Federal regulations.  For 2017, this is calling for Regulatory Cap and to identify two existing regulations to be repealed unless prohibited by law. Any agency eliminating existing costs associated with prior regulations under this subsection can do so in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act and other applicable laws. Identify any action regulatory (Unified Regulatory Agenda) otherwise from September 1993 required under Executive Order 12866 as amended or any successor order. No regulations exceeding the agency’s total incremental cost allowance will be permitted in that fiscal year, unless required by law or approved by the Director in writing. (All laws and administrative procedural codes are listed accordingly.)

It was regulatory to put special filters on the discharge water of most plants, like the Masonite Plant in Laurel, Mississippi, to keep from polluting the natural waterways or not to pump bilge water from ships or supply boats like they do at night in the Gulf.  Bilge water is human waste. Honestly, what would you do if you are the beach and step on a naturally formed seaweed encrusted turd? It is bad enough that we consume fish that eats the pooh of other fish or chicken eggs that plopped out the butt of chickens who also eat their own excrement.

Of course, there is the air quality filters that were placed on many a smoke stack in that deal in refinement of fossil fuels like Exxon-Mobile produces here in Pasadena, Texas and or plastics chemical pellets like what the Borden Corporation produces just outside east of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Well least of all we should forget about the costly change of paint products containing lead or companies that had to pay out millions on top of millions of dollars when their former employees died from mesothelioma or extreme asbestos exposure.  I would be remiss in not mentioning those who died because of improper costly regulations in coal mining. So, we really do not need regulations what so ever. Do we actually do not need any regulatory measurements on nuclear power plants either? It would seem that a melt-down or two would keep the population in check.   

Although, it is true that the lack of regulations will bring about jobs because all the regular workers will die off very soon and new jobs will be created. We need to applaud Mr. President for the creation of jobs in this area.

Now to get to the bottom line. These red areas are just my opinions.  All Americans have so much in common, an opinion and a butt hole. Some of it sounds extremely down right facetious. It really is because the executive orders, again in my opinion, should have been thought through just a little bit better.  They are lacking in organizational structure. Mr. President, you are at the top of the food chain ordering so much you have forgotten the process of following through with all details of all the mechanics involved in doing any type of job.

A good leader in an auto body shop knows pretty much the mechanics of how to implement and perform and cost of the job of redoing the body of a car. Same principle in all businesses. Somewhere in your upbringing, Mr. President, you did not receive this type of education or if you have received it, you apparently have forgotten it.  Knowing the operational aspects is needed to make a great manager. You have also surrounded yourself with people in your cabinets that honestly have no clue as to what it takes to run this country. They have never step out of their gilded cage to experience what life is like in the pits.

This is why your approval rating on March 30, 2017 was 34% with 59% disapproving of your services.

This is why your own party won’t give you an “A”.

Stop being so (what I would refer) egotistical that you cannot see your faults. You are, at this juncture, taking the defensive. It is time that you own up to the truth. The people are not happy with your job performance. You can turn this around if you stop all this and wipe the slate clean. 

Start over again and only this time, draw VP Pence closer to you for advisement. You need some really seasoned trustworthy bi-partisan advising. I suggest you start with Jimmy Carter George Bush, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Mike Pence. Take and remove anything out of the “nepotism” equation and start with sound colleagues who have been there and done that.

God bless us all and the United States of America. We are going to need it.

Say Yes To the dress - Binge Watching. -- A Short Story.

I have been binge watching Say yes to the dress on Hulu. I love the show, have watched it from day one, and will continue to watch it.  There have been some really wonderful, tear-jerking moments.

I have one question. (Just one, 1-along with many others.) Did you brides know that THEY ARE LYING TO YOU? YOU DON’T LOOK THAT GREAT IN THAT DRESS. 

Wearing a form fitted gown that makes the body look like an “S” sideways is painful to look at. It reminds me of a person with a severe case of scoliosis (abnormal curvature of the spine).

You know what causes scoliosis? When the doctor yanked that puppy out of a woman’s “be gaga” so fast and then tossed that screaming monkey to a nurse to get cleaned up. This was a cure all disease from the 60s and 70s. Everyone had this disease until they realized it. I have had this diagnosis along with about 40 others. Big deal.

Women are supposed to be hour glass not S shaped from the side. A woman honestly hour glass? From which direction are you looking? I have a natural hour glass from the front view, but from the side – that is a double trip wide load with special permits. (Special Permits mean no one has touched it in years….do not approach under penalty of death. It may be crusty, old, and decayed.) 

I see that everyone still like the trend of the sweet heart neckline without straps. How sweet. It is because so sweet of everyone not to tell you that you have four boobs. (2-in front and 2- in back). Women, when most of you wear a strapless dress, people are going to be polite and not tell you that you are in need of medical attention to remove those huge tumors growing from the back of your underarm that have spread toward your shoulder blades. They may mention those extra-long underarm hairs that you missed shaving for the past fifteen years or so.  I thought braiding of the underarm hairs, especially three hairs, was a fashion forward statement. Who am I to judge?

Of course, we all should consider that it is all about the bride. How lovely are those brides? Well, some of them are seriously needing help in that department.  Ladies, ladies, ladies! I am homely. I have a crooked smile, missing half my lower bridge dental work, and very seldom smile because my upper dentures are ill fitting. When I smile, or laugh, or even sometimes eat, if I don’t have them cemented in they just fly out of my mouth. Hitting the grandchildren in the head with the upper plate isn’t very grandmotherly. Funny but embarrassing.

Well I have witness some actual female horses getting fitted for the bridal outfits and spending an obscene amount of money on those dresses. That money should have been used at the dentist office, maybe a little rhinoplasty or orthognathic work might really be beneficial. $10,000 on a dress when you need a facial reconstruction job is not really isn’t smart business wise. 

Dear bride, I know you are getting up there in age and that the biological clock is ticking, but do not be that desperate as to settle for the first strong “sperm” count that shows up. Use me as an example, tick tock tick tock, I grabbed the first strong sperm count. Big mistake because never had I ever had a successful relationship with any partner. I do have two wonderful children that I would gladly make the same mistake for over again. 

Then there are brides with much older grooms. First of all, ladies I can guarantee this isn’t that man’s first rodeo, as Cameron Diaz often refers to relationships. I listened to one bride admit to the world what she wanted and she went for it. You know there are not a lot of men with that type of money, running a major company, in the middle-aged years single. Was he married when “YOU BRIDE – HOUNDED HIM TO GO OUT WITH YOU FOR DRINKS WHILE YOU WERE AN INTERN IN HIS COMPANY?”  That is exactly what you said on national television. “He was paying …” was how you put it. Would you have looked twice at him if he was broke? Destitute?

Daddy always told me and I also heard this same monologue from other men as well; “A hard penis has no conscience.” Or “When a man’s brain is surgically dissected, one thing for sure will be found, 40K little pieces of cat fluff with be flying around.” Well I rest my case – Jim Carter who lusted in his heart only. (Daddy was very old schooled, they didn't discuss homosexuality in a man's world. Furthermore, my grandmother didn't know what a lesbian was until the year 2001. She died in 2002. Could the cause of death been knowledge?) 

Well if a man needs Viagra that bad, then he really must like to “stick it” somewhere or two someone. Need a warning on those things, sticking it one time to many isn’t healthy. One day it might just break or end up being a “Barry Jordon from Jones Co., Mississippi”. He was married three or four times, namely one wife being Julia Ann Fountain. His last wife was young and had four children to along with the twenty-something children he already had. He was wealthy, had a lot of land, and needed a lot of free labor to work that land. He outlasted all of his wives.  He died while seeking another wife? He must have been testing one out for the road? 

Has anyone ever heard of the psychological seven-year itch? That doesn’t mean it is open season who women looking for men with money.

I will say this much. My hat is off to the NY Attorney who plays punk rocker in a band after hours. That is an intelligent woman. She has good and steady employment; then, does what she loves which probably doesn’t pay well. She was a beautiful bride. The dress matched her personality and skin tone. She made a breathing taking bride. 

Did it ever once occur to women that you are picking dresses to match your internal personality? You are picking dresses that are ugly on your because why? There is ugliness in you and it is showing. I have seen some beautiful women look fabulous in everything they style. Some of those women are fat and some thin, some are tall and some short. A truly purely soulful beautiful woman can wear anything and be beautiful.

 

Bottom line, I like the show, Say yes to the dress, and will continue to watch it. But, do not think you look good in anything. You may feel like a bride and look like a bride but that dress isn’t you. But then again what do I know. I could care less what others think of my clothes, because I am confident enough to wear what I want to and don’t care. I would listen to Randy though. He knows what he is selling.

Can't change history-Bull Crap

Can't change history. In the US we have invented a lot of it. We are changing it to reflect the truth more so in the past 50 years than ever because our predecessors invented too much literary garbage in attempts to make it reality;  absolutely astonishing!

I once read an article where the Jewish sect was laying claim to building the pyramids. The Egyptian sect said "NO WAY." 

Simple stupid solution. They were not Jews at the time the pyramids were built. They were Hebrew assimilated Egyptians slaves that worked for their freedom and were eventually counted as Egyptian. Everyone should remember that word "assimilated." Hence, they were Egyptian of Hebrew descendents aka Egyptians, Egyptian Hebrews, Egyptian Jews, Jews. Low and behold they were not pure Hebrew. What a shocker! The thought of an impure race. I still feel that being a Jew is not a race but a religion. Hebrew is the race and the word Jew comes from the regional area Judaean Sea and desert region. Of course, no one will agree with me on this. 

My DNA (a noticeable percentage) is north African. I do not know which part. It explains the dark skin and kinky hair in the genetics.  I was born dark skinned. Yet my classification is caucasian.

What is the blog about?  Bull Crap. Well let us walk down memory lane. Everybody has ancestors that were mistreated at one point in time--rich or poor. Well one didn't always get "their little pony" and the other got the "heck fire" beaten out of them for not producing "their little pony" in a timely manner.

What is this? It is a confederate flag. Infact if one were to research this is just cloth and a generalization. Each state pretty much had their own and then each division who fought in the Civil War had something similar.  Nicola Marschand (a well renowned artist) had designed one for his regiment. (I believe it is in a museum in Montgomery or Birmingham. I am just not sure. ) So are we going to remove all his famous art work because he designed a flag for his regiment he fought with?  

The Civil War, like every single war in the history of the world was about what? Money, power, and control. Slavery was a small fraction of the issue. It was about the wealthy spreading hatred for a reason to get people's dander up to fight their cause. Does this sound familiar?  Apply it to today. There are rich people who are trying to get the unlearned or uneducated people's dander up over the USA to fight for their cause of what? MONEY, POWER, AND CONTROL. Hey, money, power and control is the American way, or is it? 

We can't right the wrong once it has been done meaning, we cannot ever undue the past. If we could, then I would right a lot of wrongs done to my family. For example, I would find out who the man was that shot the brother of my Lewis grandfather and stomp on his grave. Not only for shooting my relative but for shooting the hand off of my grandmother Lewis hand off.  They were tenant farmers in Ireland and didn't produce enough yield. Grandfather Lewis fled to the US to keep from being hung in very early pre- America. Incidentally, he would have been hung because he killed the shooter, an English Lord who was drunk. 

I would go to the Burns state legislator post civil war and horse whipped the SOB because had stolen land from the Freedmen. He used their lack of education against them.

I would go to the Plantation Owner who whipped my grandfather with a riding crop and evicted his family (him, my grandmother, and two small girl babies) from their home in the middle of the night during winter. The stuffed news papers in the holes of their tenant house. The owner also broke all their food jars that my grandmother had put up. Why? Well they just didn't produce enough. 

I would have dried the tears of another grandmother who was extremely dark when she lied about her North African heritage while trying to escape slavery. 

I would have checked "other" in a box to get a job as a minority in the 1980s. I am a minority. I am female, I am dark skinned, an exclusionary, believer in life, gentle and simple as well. I believe in people and innocence. If that isn't a minority, well I don't know what is.

My DNA tells me I am a mixture of a lot of races. SO what am I? I am an American. I am not black nor white. I am nothing more than a mutt. I cannot fix the past period. I cannot right the injustices that were done. I view what happened in slavery as a reminder. It still exists. It exists in New Orleans, Houston, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and other major US cities. It affects children, young teenagers men and women alike. Sex slaves and domestic slavery is still alive and well. Yet I find that we are more interested in the history of the dead than we are of the living. It makes no sense. 

Why are we destroying the work of artists? Why are we removing artist work of Frederick Volck or Alexander Doyle?  Is Doyle's work as an artist that offensive to the eye?  Are we not violating freedom of speech? Offensive in New Orleans?  A place where women go to show their breast for beads? A place that millions gather each year to act stupid and stay drunk for three days and sometimes longer?  A place that claims the origin of Mardi Gras but in truth that origin is in Mobile, Alabama. So what? New Orleans has some commemorative statutes. Who cares?  I remember New Orleans pre-Katrina, a region seat of Maritime licensures, massive shipping center, another Mardi Gras town, French Quarter, fresh wares, voodoo, a wonderful world class zoo, great food, wonderful people, origin of Jazz, first Indian tribe that helped run-a-way slave hide, the cultural seat of Black Society, fabulous cemeteries, a ward (in ruin) of wonderful architecture where the city refused to update for its residents, port for immigrants, and much more. That is what I see.  I don't see slavery. I see suffering. Every city has pains of one sort or another.   

I heard some man speak on a YouTube video stating what if it happened to white people? I cannot find that video this morning, but I want to know who he is. Because I am personally tired of profiling. I don't care who it is or color or nationality, I am tired of profiling. My entire life I have had a label. I am whitey, cracker, bitch, turd, fatso, nigger, idiot, stupid, dick, pussy, whore, ignorant, fool, dog, barker, and much more. I am tired of name calling. I have been profiled for being a prostitute because I was female waiting for a public transportation. (You are thinking, I must have been dressed provocatively--wrong. I was dressed in a blazer, blouse, and slacks on my way to being a middle manager in a hotel.) I AM TIRED OF PROFILING. 

I don't see color on people, I am more interested in what contribution they have made to society, right wrong or indifferent. For example: Ted Bundy made a tremendous contribution to society. He was instrumental in women learning how to protect themselves. He was instrumental in new security systems being put into play on many college campuses.  He was instrumental in law enforcement becoming more connected. Another example: 9/11. It was instrumental in changing the face of America and their thoughts. It was instrumental in many people taking a look at the policies that govern this nation more than ever before. 

Another example is the comparison of Louis Armstrong and Harry Connick Jr. What great accomplishment have they made to society or to New Orleans for that matter?  

I once wrote a paper on Nat Turner and compared him to Charles Manson. In truth did either man kill anyone? Think about their horrendous crimes. Unless I totally missed something somewhere, neither man killed a single person but were both ring leaders in horrible multiple murders. 

Unless History was grossly misstated (in error) it needs to stop and be put to bed all of it. There are more important issues to be dealt with today. More so especially in the south like education, employment, affordable housing, etc., all up and down the gulf coast not to mention the pollution in the water and on the ground. These issues do not hold a color but just issues in need of solutions. Time and energy would be better spent if these issues were addressed. If the governors on the Gulf Coast (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida) don't have the time to improve their state area (no excuses) then "screw them" because they are in essence screwing the people out of improving lifestyles of the southerners. There is no color on these improvements period, If there are then kick them out of office. Don't wait for Washington. These are heavily taxed states with money that needs to be used properly. 

Do not let profiling or trivial matters overcome intelligent thought to improve in our southern communities. There will always be a "faction" that we disagree with, prejudices that will be had, and we wonder why? Because, man (within himself) is contradictory, lacking in overall willingness to change. Prejudices are inevitable because everyone likes or hates something which is the definition of prejudice.  Races came into play during the Tower of Babel and we can't change that.

What does everyone want? Humanity? Equality? Rights? Well don't we all. It doesn't mean that it will happen even with the removal of statutes or a piece of cloth. Why? Simple, we can't change history and it's Bull Crap. 

Pray for our men, women, and children to be able to let God guide them in everyday decision making. We cannot revert back, we can only live for the now and strive for a better future

To Watch or Not to watch--it all Depends

I am getting to the point I so dislike television viewing. I am, after all, a creature of habit. I like certain shows on certain nights and that is all there is to it.  What sells as far as viewing is concerned: Sex, Violence, Drama, sometimes Religion or something along the illicit nature. This is also true for politics.To watch or not to watch, it all depends. I personally use depends theory and concept. Do you want your soul to remain fresh and dry, well do not watch television, the news, or anything else for that matter. Do something entirely different, use your brain. Read for a change the information instead of watching it. 

BUT...(Sex is the root of the word that Trumps all.)

Lately in the news is this sex and toilet thing? I wouldn't use a public toilet to save my soul because they aren't that clean. I have seen friends bathrooms even dirtier as well as mine. I am talking about the ladies room. Hate to be honest and break it to many Americans, that naturally born women do stand and pee on toilet seats just like men do. Why? I honestly don't know why; they just do it. Fear of catching something I suppose. Might be some left over sperm on the seat; before you know it, it has crawled up that leg and then it becomes another welfare issue. 

Sex. Sex. Sex. All over everything and it is the height of discussion and related topics 24-hours a day seven days a week. Women's sexuality is really more discussed than anything else, then a man's priapism, transgender, transsexual, sex neutrality, birth control, abortion, control over bodies, viagra, dry vagina, lubrication is a must, sexually transmitted diseases, homosexuality, bi-sexuality, etc. Just thinking about all these stupid discussions makes my head ache. 

HOWEVER, there is always memory lane to remind us......

I am of the youthful adult generation that went to sleep with Chet Kincaid, Coach, and woke up to Dr. Cliff Huxtable, Obstetrician, to find maybe Bill Cosby was conducting a little more than coaching private obstetric examinations among a variety of ages. We often forget, even though he has a zipper problem, he actually did a lot of good in promoting the black male youth of America to become educated and step out of the crime of the streets. He called for black men to step up and take charge in the communities in a positive manner and to break the jail statistics. Something many seem to have forgotten. But we should forgive him at least for having sex with Janice Dickinson...ewe! 

In another end of the world, while he was being judged, we can tune in to some really wild shows like "The Ballers." This show portrays sexual activity on a pool table while conducting contract negotiations of top dollar football deals in the next room. Let him "finish" his banging pool game and then he will sign his contract post haste. Well, on a positive note, anything with Dwayne Johnson will be watched with great intent because he is a 'SEX SYMBOL' on the old "Boob tube." (Even our television has sexual connotations like ships -- she is a beauty.)

Oh yes there were many illicit activities of the sexual nature. After all, we really didn't judge JFK, LBJ, Clinton, Trump, many of the politicians that had sexual activity in similar situations like the press and society did with Bill Cosby. Well what can I say? After all, if Trump grabbed it, it must have been worth grabbing? Was there gold in those valleys past the heavy foliage?

The 1983 Congressional Page Sex Scandal was a life saver for many congressmen long away from their home considering the age of consent in Washington, D.C. Momma don't let you babies grow up to be Congressional pages. Let them be a cowboys instead. After all it is an honorable old time profession just like prostitution. Or was that profession more like the stripper Fannie Fox and Wilbur Mills in 1974.  They had a really ongoing game of called undercover. Then in 1981 Thomas Evans invented "tactile golf game in 18 holes" with Labia's nude expert Paul Parkinson. Tiger Woods is really great at this game.  That must be why the President(s) enjoy golfing so much? Rolling, rolling, rolling, must keep those balls rolling right over the "little black book" of the D C Madam. 

I clearly fail to see why Robert Packwood isn't in the current administration. He just had to wait out the storm of his boasts in his personal diary confirming that he sexually harassment, abuse and assaults 29 women during his political career in 1995. He would have been a great aid in this administration along with his field of documented expertise.

Where am I going? Men stay out of the dealings with a woman's body and women should reciprocate in staying out of the dealings of men's bodies. Sex is activity to procreate naturally. It really has nothing to do with love which is an emotion.  Emotions and physical activity are two separate creatures. Sex is a physical activity that creates physical changes within the human body. One does not have to think to have sex or anything really dealing with it. If the brain were involved, then maybe Clinton wouldn't have committed adultery.  Maybe many congressman would not have had sexual contact with 17 year old young men and women.  If sex was a thinking thing maybe the social assistance programs would be at an all time low or maybe many sexually transmitted diseases would have been eradicated. 

The physical topic of sex is dangerous. It causes economic stress issue, pain, divorce, and the ultimate of death quicker than a person carrying an actual assault weapon.  The brain is a very mighty weapon in which society seems to forget to use.

Whether we watch it or not -- it all depends on the what? "THOUGHT PROCESS."

God is always with us. Go with God in his direction not yours.

Empty Nest Syndrome - Sure fire cure.

If you are a parent, a truly loving parent, eventually you will have to go through the dreaded "Empty Nest Syndrome". It can be so damn depressing. We parent(s) realize that there isn't a brake pedal to life. We blinked, they were pottied trained, went to school, and off to the world. What do we do now? 

According to the Bible, "The man said, 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.' For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were bother naked and were not ashamed...." (Genesis 2.23-25)

What is the old Cole Porter song Let's do it: "Birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it...." It is natural for the cub, fold, litter, offspring, calf, etc., to leave the comforts of home and go out on their own. I am not sure if it is any easier for the animals in the wild, but for us humans it is the most dreaded thing especially when a parent(s) get on up into the senior years. Heck fire! We are happy just to wake up every morning.  It is a really big change for the children to leave home. 

What Mommy's or Daddy's may think but never tell you....

My youngest, my daughter moved out first. I hated the man who put his hands on my innocent little girl. My precious sweet angelic child. Look at that pervert putting his hands on my little apple dumpling. Her bed time is 9:00 PM and he keeps her out to all hours of the night. She is just a little girl! 

Now, my oldest, my big guy, my first born, is leaving home. Damn girl, she took my baby from me. She don't know how to take care of him when he is sick and needing his Mommy! Bet you that think has germs? She won't know about his red cheeks and ears when he gets sick. He forgets his chores when he is with her. It is all her fault, everything, He is just a little boy!

Parent(s)

The house is empty and they are gone. Will they return? You still don't totally like their choices in mates. How dare they grow up! 

Reality Check

Does this sound all too familiar. We the loving parents have always taken the front seat with our children. We are truly (unless you are a really, really terrible parents) are their heroes. We are lost. They are not here. They don't call us. After all we are getting older. Frailty can set in any minute. We can fall and no one will be here to help us. We can cry and not worry about hiding it because we are all alone We feel empty. 

The Solution-The sure fire cure. 

Time to turn them lose. Make the little money grubbing brats call you everyday at least once or a maximum of twice. Make them promise. This was a suggestion that was given to my by my aunt. I have my daughter trained. But now, male children need a little bit more working with to contact. It must be a macho thing? 

I told them both that I am not angry with perspective mates, it is the fact I am angry at the child for growing up and leaving me. I don't feel that they love us anymore or need us or even want to be around us. Well that is not true. They do love us, They do care about us. They do need us in their lives. But, an easy sure fire method that help eases the tension, the loneliness, and the painful depression of missing that offspring is a simple text message or a telephone call. Just hearing that voice on a daily basis helps more than you can possibly know. Just for them to ask you, "How are you feeling Mom?" or "Hey we are going to be out of pocket for the weekend, but I will call you still" or "I think I will come see you today, is that okay with you? Do you have plans or do you need me to pick something up for you?"  

Just hearing these simple things warms a parent's heart to no end. It keeps the communication open and the dialogue going between parents and children. Yet, you don't have to know every aspect of their lives. On the other hand, they need to know about you.  You then are getting to know your children on another level besides parent and child. Talk to your children, if you are like me with multiple health issues, to let their mates need know what your parents are going through medically. 

It has taken me three years to really appreciate my son-in-law. My new soon to be daughter-in-law well we are learning.  There will be ups and downs with the in-laws, but we will all eventually drawn boundaries of what is and is not acceptable.  Boundaries are like holidays. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.  That is mandatory. Last years was absolutely fantastic. Christmas is more religious, and basically for children. I have two grandchildren now, I will see them Christmas Eve or Christmas night. New Years, I sleep through it as usual. Halloween, I enjoy the costumes of the children and always try to pass out candy safely. 

The bottom line to the cure, communication. At least one text message or telephone call per day keeps the parent(s) happy and helps ward off the empty nest syndrome.

My Home Town-A Short Story

Yesterday afternoon, during rush hour traffic, in my home town of Mobile, Alabama, was said to be one of the worse crime related standoffs in history. It was so terribly intent. It wasn't gruesome because no lives were lost. I am thankful to God in that respect. 

An off-duty homicide detective was on his way home. He saw what appeared to be a log in the road. It wasn't. It was (it is hard for me to say because of all the emotions built up inside me), to quote the detective "a gator. I didn't realize what it was until it lifted his head and winked at me. I knew I had to react fast." 

He did too. He called for back up as the gator stared him down. He did a u-turn in his private vehicle and proceeded to toot the horn at him several times. The gator slithered off the road and hid under some bushes. Other officers showed up quickly, as well as the fire and rescue, MFD. They were able to build make shift bedding and throw it on the gator to make sure he wasn't to terribly armed or seeking someone's arm for a light snack. They discovered he was armed with what looked like blood thirsty fangs and red in his eyes. He was a big one, and it was about 10-13 feet tall. They weren't going to take any chances.

Supervisors were called to the scene as well as the federal agents who are experts dealing with this type of stand off. Serious onlookers showed up from all over Mobile. They had to barricade the area and shut off one lane of traffic just in case. There was some mention of this being a Florida Gator that was possibly high on PCP--with grandeur of winning a pig skin.  I am sure Mobile Fire and Rescue had an ambulance or Life Flight on standby just incase he (the alleged gator in question) came out of the bushes charging. Camera crews and all the onlookers were told to stand back. The gator stayed unusually quiet for a period of time. It was also alleged that he could have been an illegal gator alien since he was near the railroad tracks. Homeland Security was notified. Mobile is not a sanctuary city--they will not tolerate such activity because they want their grant money from Jeff Sessions. Was this a terrorist act of ISIS? Did the Taliban plant this gator on those tracks at this time? FBI and Secret Service are trying to determine.  

Meanwhile, the White House was called. It was Friday so there was no answer. Florida was called and Mr. President was unavailable for comment. He was on a "T" near one of the greens at Mar-a-lago meeting with Madonna to discuss how he should grab that cone with the ball attached. She wasn't sure but Green Peace and Blackeyed Peas might shed some light on the matter. With clean air and a full stomach, answers will be had. 

Meanwhile, Homeland Natural Security Specialist (HNSS) showed up and determined that this was in truth a Florida Gator. They called the University of Alabama to complete the goal. Coach Sabin said, "Well it isn't season time for hunting Florida Gators yet. Just tape his mouth shut because he is still PO'd about the Mr. Elephant stomping on him last year, 54-16." 

Homeland stepped up and wrestled with him. They were able to bound and gag the gator in 15 second flat. What a victory. According to Chucky U Farty (HNSS-In-house Bubber), "We aren't going to ship this one to Louisiana to become a po-boy. We are relocating him near south Florida in the everglades with the other 5,100 pythons in the area. 

All and all it was horrible, Simply the worse day in crime ever in Mobile, Alabama.

Did someone mention party? Oh it is a funeral.

My Daddy passed in 1993 into another world that I really nor anyone else has any concept about. It seemed to be my responsibility to help Mother in planning the funeral. After all isn't that what the only daughter in the family does? It was a hard task, a chore to say the least. I did not have time for grief. Heck fire, I really didn't understand the big deal of what grief was. I just know he wasn't here. My Daddy wasn't here to help me any longer. Maybe that was a good thing? Or maybe it wasn't? 

As I was going through the bill that was presented, I was dumbfounded with all these miscellaneous charges. Coffee was $75.00 for 5 pots of it in a Mr. Coffee Maker. The Memorial Guest book was being offered to me for the bargain price of $100.00. There was chair rental for the graveside services and the flower truck, the service attendants, and need I go on. Then we get to the more expensive items which is the casket. The bottom line, the funeral was going to run mother and I a total of $8,000.00. Money we didn't have. 

What were we going to do?

I told that director he was full of it.  (I did not quote myself because what I did say wasn't what a lady should have said. And, above all, most of the time, I consider myself a southern lady) 

This is what we did:
We supplied the coffee and the coffee pot. 
Hired two men with a truck for $25.00 to take care of transporting and setting up the flowers.
I purchased my own guest book at K-Mart for $19.99.
I chose the standard coffin for $2,000.00-- 

Then there was special requests. 

I came up with the only request I knew: "Lay him face down, butt naked, so he can tell the world to kiss his ass!"  Meanwhile after that remark, I had a bruise on my shin for a week where Mother decided to kick me under the table. 

The total cost, with tax came to $2,800.00. 

The day of the funeral came around. There were about 275 people that showed up. I didn't do a head count until about a year or so later.  There were many relatives, a delegation from the Republican Party for the state of Alabama, members of the KKK, representatives from my father's Masonic Lodge, retired & convicted political figures- from Alabama and Mississippi, representatives from the Shriners in Houston, Texas, representatives from the Mobile Chapter of the NAACP, the 1993 current Chancellor from Carver Technical School in Mobile, Alabama, Doctors, Lawyers, Nurses, Southern Baptist, Methodist, Catholics, Apostolics, in-laws, out-laws, drunks, and idiots not to mention several of my Daddy's girl-friends including his latest. (There was a lot of gossip and side line betting going on. Was Marilyn going to tear them a new one or not? Talking about his girlfriends.) 

Mother was a true lady in every sense. She consoled everyone, very gently and lovingly. 

She didn't ride with her children to the grave side. My maternal youngest Uncle decided to take her in his classic brand new Cadillac gold edition. Of course she was the center of attention-- the grieving widow. Always remember a a woman is the center of attention during her wedding, child birth, at her husband's funeral or during the divorce proceeding (unless she is a total scumbag- which Mother was not.)

My Mother's younger sister offered to help and I assigned her the task of getting together the pallbearers. 

The service was very nice. The Minister of my Daddy's church came from Alabama to Mississippi and really offered a heartfelt service. 

There was a call for pallbearers. No one showed up. I just looked at everyone and said: 
"Oh well. I guess I just forgot. I turned to the director and asked if he had a gurney? Knowing that Daddy's grave was on a slight slope, we could just point and push. Taking bets to see if the casket makes it on the first try? $20.00 for the first volunteer to push him in the hole." 

If looks could have killed, I would be dead. Mother and her sisters that attended including my maternal Grandmother, gave me some really nasty looks. The maternal death ray; you know that aching stare where one melts. Talk about panties being twisted. Don't know why they couldn't take a joke. 

The pallbearers volunteered and all was said and done. 

Now it was the dinner at the house. It is where everyone gathers together and eats. They also gossip and check out things to come.This is where everyone asks for something.  Daddy's side of the family chose not to come. I had to put up with Mother's side. As usual, there were no left-overs. I had to send out for a 2-buckets of 20 piece chicken. And, no one left with anything other than a full stomach and a head full of gossip. 

Did someone mention party? Oh it is a funeral or at least I thought it was.
